The West Coast Men's & Mixed Netball Association committee are pleased to be able to open our expression of interest form and announce our trial dates for the 2022/2023 West Coast Thunder campaign. Two dates have been allocated to view and select athletes across each of our divisions. Successful athletes and teams will compete at the Australian Men's & Mixed Netball Association National Championships in Perth over Easter 2023. Information, flyer and Facebook events are below - we encourage anyone interested to nominate and trial.
When: Sunday 30th October 9am - 12pm* (Ray Owen Sports Centre)
When: Thursday 3rd November 6pm - 9pm* (Gold Netball Centre)
Divisions**: 17&U, 20&U, 23&U, Mixed (Reserve & Open), Men's (Reserve & Open)
Cost: $20
* Specific trial times for each division will be emailed to all nominations in the week preceding each trial. More trials may be added if required
** The touring divisions will be confirmed based on both staff and athlete registrations (quality and quantity). Please check back on this news article and your registered email for further updates.

3rd November: Selectors meeting
6th November: Squad invite/emails
15th November: Squad acceptance due. Home fitness & gym program begins
26th - 27th November: Squad camp (details TBC)
1st December: Formal running & gym (at WA Sports Performance) begins
11th & 18th December: squad court sessions (time and location TBC)
20th December: Touring team selection emails
22nd December: Christmas break commences
5th January: Court sessions resume (details TBC)*
Exhibition and Farewell day: 1st April (TBC)
* Court sessions will comprise of Sunday morning (Ray Owen) for the entire squad. All Men's Open, 23&U, and any non-WANL athletes will have an additional mid-week court session. Details (including day, time, and location TBC).
