The COVID-19 pandemic has been a tough one to endure for many Australians (and internationally) in 2020. Luckily, here in Western Australia we have been able to see a gradual easing of restrictions to a point now where there are little-to-no restrictions in place for events and gatherings. Given the current state of restrictions and Government policy we are absolutely fortunate enough to be able to hold an Information and Awards day in 2020 for our current and future athletes!
The day will provide an opportunity for 2020 athletes to celebrate their 6-month training journey from November 2019 to April 2020, when unfortunately the AMMNA National Championships were cancelled. The 2020 awards will celebrate the success and journey for each and every one of those athletes in our squad, with the presentation of a coach's award for each of our 6 teams as well as a Club Person of the Year in 2020. Unfortunately, given our teams played no official games we will be unable to award a "Most Valuable Player" and "Players Player" for 2020.

The Info and Awards day will also provide an opportunity for us to speak to both returning and new athletes on our 2020/2021 season and program, any updates from AMMNA about the 2021 championships as well as introduce our suppliers and partners and finalize any outstanding paperwork or information we require from our squad moving forward. The information portion of the day will precede the awards and have speeches from;

The outline of the day will be as follows;
10:45am: Arrive Bathers Beach House, Fremantle
11am - 12:30pm: 2020/2021 Information session (compulsory for all 2021 athletes)
12:30pm - 16:00pm: 2019/2020 Awards presentation
16:30pm: Bus into City (Wembley Hotel)
